.Established in 1986, Lietash Canine Vacation Resort is located on our 435 acre, relaxing, free-range farm in South Rawdon. It is a short 25 minute drive from Lr. Sackville and only 20 minutes from Windsor. Your dog will be able to enjoy watching sheep, llamas, chickens, ducks, and geese during their vacation with us.
We have a medium size facility, which is small enough to enable our canine guests to receive personal attention, but big enough to offer many extras that small backyard kennels cannot offer. We offer two large outdoor play yards and a huge indoor play area (40 x 130 feet). We can also offer the dogs safe walks on our private farm road to the lake for a swim, weather permitting. There is no risk of your dog being placed in danger by being walked along a busy road.
Our indoor to outdoor accommodations have large indoor areas with 24 feet long and 6 feet wide outside runs. Your dog will have his or her own indoor to outdoor unit where they can come inside or go outside as they please. Our safe, individual accommodations allows us to board non-neutered dogs.
We will provide daily personal attention for your dog. Our boarding facilities are heated and air-conditioned with the top of the line heat pumps and in-floor heating. The in-floor heating is a favourite for the seniors and short-haired breeds. The facility is odor free and exceptionally clean.
If you have a small dog and a cat that are inseparable or just like each other’s company then the LOFT is the perfect place for them to share.
We accept cats into our large SITTING ROOM accommodation equipped with comfortable furniture and windows overlooking our farm pond.
We require that the dogs in our care have been vaccinated or have antibody titers for parvovirus, distemper, leptospirosis and either the oral or the intranasal bordetella. We also request that the dogs are flea and tick free. An herbal or essential oil preventative tick and flea preventative is recommended.
Please note that we are not taking on any new dogs who are aggressively reactive to humans or other dogs.
You will need to bring your dog’s usual food and treats, food bowl, a couple of tough toys and something to lay on.
